Generally, the cylinder of a four-column hydraulic press will not be touched easily. The cylinder must be disassembled and assembled when thoroughly cleaning or replacing it. Since there is high pressure in the hydraulic circuit, in order to ensure safe operation, the hydraulic circuit must be drained first. Pressure is required before disassembly and assembly can be carried out. For safety reasons, the cylinder must be disassembled and assembled correctly in accordance with the regulations. When disassembling and assembling the oil cylinder of four-column hydraulic press, the operator cannot wear gloves, cannot use fiber cloth to wipe the parts, and cannot use an iron hammer to knock. If the disassembly and assembly work is not completed on the same day, use plastic plugs to block the oil ports to prevent dust and debris from entering the hydraulic press.
It is necessary to loosen the hand wheel or pressure regulating screw of the four-column hydraulic press, and then cut off the power supply after unloading the pressure; the operator should be slow to prevent damage to the surface and top thread of the piston rod, as well as the oil port thread and the inner wall of the cylinder liner. For necessary damage, you can use skids to support the piston rod to prevent bending or deformation. Due to the different specifications of the four-column hydraulic press, the size of the cylinder structure is also different, but the working principle of the hydraulic press is roughly the same. First, drain the oil in the cylinder and dismantle the cylinder. It is forbidden to use a flat shovel to disassemble the cover, piston and piston rod. Use screws to push out the flange end cover. Do not use brute force. Keep the surrounding environment hygienic. The disassembled parts must be covered with plastic cloth.
Inspect the disassembled parts to determine which ones are serviceable and need to be repaired or replaced. Please install after cleaning and tighten the threaded connectors with a special wrench. The torque should meet the standard requirements. After the four-column hydraulic press is assembled, there should be monthly blockage or uneven resistance when the piston assembly moves. The oil inlet and outlet joints must be tightened with sealing rings to prevent oil leakage. Under low pressure conditions, multiple reciprocating movements should be performed to eliminate the gas in the cylinder, and it can be put into production only after confirming that the assembly requirements are met.
