Not long ago, old customer return visits who makes auto part, this customer's factory has hydraulic stamping press prodcution line, 30 robots.
The hydraulic stamping press production line of the OEM is the first workshop, that is, after you go to the automobile factory, you will see that the first workshop is very high. That's because the first workshop was installed with a stamping machine, which itself was relatively large and relatively tall. Under normal circumstances, the production line with an automobile production capacity of 50,000 units/year will choose a cheaper, slightly slower hydraulic press production line, the speed of the hydraulic press can only be achieved 5 times per minute, and some high-end automobile manufacturers or automobile production lines with an annual output of about 100,000 units will use a servo press, and the speed of the servo press can be 11-15 times/min.
A hydraulic stamping press production line consists of 5 hydraulic presses, the first of which is a hydraulic press or servo press for the drawing process, and the last four are mechanical presses or servo presses (generally rich owners use full servo presses).
The robot of the stamping line is mainly the function of feeding, and the process action is relatively simple, but the difficulty lies in the fast speed requirement and extremely high stability requirement. It is necessary to ensure the stable operation of the stamping line, and at the same time, the degree of manual intervention is low. If stable operation is not possible, then maintenance personnel must be on standby in real time. This is a production line where downtime is penalized by the hour. Some equipment manufacturers once said that a fine of 600 yuan for one hour of downtime. That's the price of stability.
From the beginning to the end of a stamping line, there are 6 robots, and according to the size and weight of the side panel structural parts of the body, a seven-axis robot with an arm span of about 165kg and 2500-3000mm is basically used.
Under normal conditions, an OEM with a production capacity of 100,000 units/year, if it adopts high-end servo presses, it needs 5-6 stamping lines according to the different structural parts.
Without counting the use of robots in the storage and vertical warehouse of body stamping parts, the number of robots in a stamping workshop is 30.
From the whole hydraulic stamping press production line, there is really no need for people, and stamping itself is a noisy and high-risk work. Therefore, it has been more than 20 years since the stamping of automotive side panels has been fully automated.
